My children's book was inspired by a children's book called Immi's Gift written and illustrated by Karin Littlewood. Immi's Gift is about how sharing simple gifts can bring the greatest joy, and shows how two friends were able to enrich each other's lives. I wanted to take this opportunity to write about those who have taught and given me so much - just by being who they are. My book, Soyou's Gift, is about my friends who have walked alongside me to help me become who I am today. I hope that by sharing my book, I can express my gratitude and thankfulness to the ones I dearly love, treasure, and cherish the most.
